What is F2-21?

F2-21 is a high-tech, new generation fuel additive for diesel fuels and an oil additive that uses an advanced micro-emulsion technology. This revolutionary product enhances and regulates combustion while simultaneously cleansing combustion chamber deposits. It significantly:

  • improves fuel economy
  • increases power
  • boosts engine performance
  • reduces exhaust emissions, and
  • protects the environment

What makes F2-21 different from other fuel additives?

F2-21 is the only commercially available fuel additive based on the extremely powerful micro-emulsion technology. It is also the only multi-functional fuel additive on the market that works as a combustion enhancer AND combustion chamber cleaner.

While other additives on the market are primarily designed to correct specific problems, F2-21 improves overall engine performance, whether it's old or new. It also increases power and effectively reduces fuel consumption, toxic emissions and engine knocks immediately. It is safe, easy to use and cost effective.

How does F2-21 work?

F2-21 fuel additive is based on emulsion technology. This means when added to fuel it disperses and forms a stable micro-emulsion of sub-microscopic spherical water droplets, each encased by an 'elastic' surfactant membrane. As the fuel begins to burn in the combustion chamber, these water droplets flash into steam. This process produces an increase in turbulence within the air and fuel mixture, causing more efficient fuel atomisation, reduced cyclic dispersions and results in enhanced combustion.

The result...Increased power and improved fuel consumption.

When these micro-explosions occur against the surface of the combustion chamber deposits, there is a very efficient cleaning action as the deposits begin to breakdown and disintegrate.

The result...Cleaner combustion chambers and lower emissions.

When exploding nano-clusters are at the surface of the engine combustion chambers, a very gentle and steady cleaning action is created which slowly removes any accumulated combustion chamber deposits.

Clean combustion chambers give cooler combustion, reduced exhaust emissions including NOx, and allow the use of significantly lower octane fuel.

WITHOUT F2-21 IN THE FUEL

  • Fuel injectors spray fuel into the combustion chamber
  • Regular atomisation produces some large drops of fuel, which do not burn completely during combustion
  • Incomplete combustion increases harmful emissions and promotes build-up of combustion chamber deposits

The two forms of F2-21

F2-21 comes as a fuel additive (Nanoron) and an oil additive (Nanolube).

F2-21 Nanoron Diesel Fuel Additive is a highly concentrated (8,000:1) fuel additive, which uses dynamic liquid nanotechnology. Inside the fuel tank, F2-21 is able to build an exceptionally stable three-dimensional matrix consisting of extremely small (sub-microscopic) nano-clusters, all evenly distributed within the body of the fuel. These nano-clusters are either physically, chemically or catalytically active (depending on the stage of the combustion cycle).

F2-21 Nanolube Oil Additive is a unique breakthrough and a powerful multifunctional oil additive (100:1) for use with most internal combustion engine crankcase lubricating oils. Using the same nanotechnology as F2-21 Nanoron, it enhances the performance of engine oil and has achieved excellent results no other ordinary oil additives can equal: boosted power, improved fuel economy, engine protection as well as the cleansing of combustion chamber and piston ring deposits.

Nanolube also contains premium quality oil additives such as dispersants, antioxidants, antiwear agents and corrosion inhibitors, which enhance engine oil benefits and further prolong engine service life.

Its unique nanotechnology enables Nanolube to penetrate deeply into piston ring cavities and engine combustion chambers. When it enters the engine combustion chambers and is subjected to high combustion temperatures, based on micro-explosion theory, it transforms into a powerful combustion enhancer, enabling fuel and oil to achieve a more complete combustion.

It also acts as a combustion chamber deposit (CCD) cleaner, removing accumulated deposits from the combustion chamber and the piston rings. The result is significantly increased power, improved fuel economy, engine protection and effective emissions reduction. One treatment lasts for the entire duration of an oil change.

How do you use F2-21?

F2-21 Nanoron is added to fuel at a rate of 1:8,000. We recommend that companies who have bulk fuel facilities use Nanoron, as only 1 treatment per delivery is required. Nanoron comes in 1 litre bottles. The amount of fuel expected at refuelling must be estimated to calculate the amount of F2-21 to be used. Using less than optimum will reduce the benefit and using more than optimum will have no ill effects. The additive should be added just before the fuel. F2-21 will disperse completely and is completely stable, only becoming active when heated.

For companies who do not have bulk storage, Nanolube is recommended as this can be easily added at each oil change. Nanolube comes in 1 litre and 40ml bottles, each 40ml bottle treating 4 litres of oil. The oil leaks into the fuel at a rate of approximately 100ml per 1,000kms. This carries enough F2-21 into the fuel to have the desired effect.

The exception to the above situations are the biggest trucks which have a high oil volume. In this case it will be more economical to use the 45ml Nanoron bottles which are designed to treat 360 litres and need only be emptied into the fuel tank at every refuelling just before the fuel is added.

Who should use F2-21?

Anyone using an internal combustion engine running on petrol, diesel, biofuels or ethanol. Newer engines burn their fuel with a high efficiency and no additive can add anything more. But as engines age they deposit carbon in the combustion chamber and their efficiency drops. That’s when F2-21 can help. The more the carbon build-up, the less efficient the burn and the greater the effect of F2-21. Engines operating below optimum will get an immediate octane boost an immediate drop in emissions and the cleaning process will begin. A full clean should take no more than 6 weeks.

F2-21 was developed over many years and is produced by a Californian company, H2Oil Corporation. You can view their website at www.h2oil.com.

Where is F2-21 used?

It has been widely and successfully used in Asia, the USA and Europe (www.wewantless.com). Recently the Chinese government has decided that F2-21 presents the cheapest and most effective way of reducing their rising vehicle pollution and their ever-increasing fuel imports.

On 27th September 2004 H2Oil announced that China's largest oil company, Petrochina's subsidiary Huafu Oilfield Chemical Company, has signed a joint venture with H2Oil to produce 1,500 tonnes of F2-21 fuel additive annually - enough to treat 12 billion litres of fuel.

F2-21 is non-corrosive, non-toxic, non-metallic and environmentally friendly.
